Every month, we run a free partner visa session at our Perth Office. Conducted by David and Hamish, we go through tips and traps of the Partner Visa process. Due to the size of our venue, seats are limited.

Bridging Visa's Explained

Current processing time for Partner applications is 24+ Months. Lodging an onshore partner visa may entitle you to a Bridging Visa to remain in the country with work rights until a decision is made. We’ll explain how this works.


Decision Ready Applications

We’ll explain the difference between lodging a Valid application and a Decision Ready application, covering topics such as Character, Health and other requirements .

What’s Covered and When?

Every third Thursday of the month, we offer an after-hours partner visa seminar. Our resident partner visa expert will explain the onshore and offshore partner visa process, important definitions and the types of evidence required. Items covered include: How to lodge a valid Partner and Defacto Visa guide, obtaining bridging visa’s to remain in the country (after your existing visa has expired), work rights explained, the character test, passing the medical or obtaining a waiver – Public Health Criteria 4007 (the spouse visa medical), common issues in lodging a partner visa and what to do if your application is refused.

The session will be run by David Pereira (director of First Choice Australian Migration) and Hamish Glenister (Barrister & Solicitor).
